A CLEVELAND college is offering a free part-time course aimed at helping people get back to work.
Called Planning for the Future, the studies are designed to improve job chances by developing skills to make people more employable.
The 12-week course starts on Wednesday at the Billingham site of Stockton and Billingham college.
Three subject areas will be covered: computer skills, using the internet and communicating at work.
Students will have the chance to achieve recognised qualifications without benefits being affected.
The college marketing manager, Christine Morgan, said: Information technology is an integral part of the workplace and skills in this area are highly sought-after. The course will equip people with skills to enable them to operate computers."
