YOUNGSTERS are meeting this weekend to compete in the Teesside finals of the Millennium Youth Games.
Finalists from Redcar and Cleveland, Stockton, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool will compete in the day-long event tomorrow at the Eston Sports Academy. Basketball, rugby, girls football, swimming, athletics, table tennis and hockey are among some of the competitions taking place.
The finalists, aged between ten and 15, have come through district and area competitions to reach the Teesside finals.
Winners in the older categories will go on to represent Teesside at the National Grand Finals of the Millennium Youth Games in Southampton next month.
