RUNNERS of all ages and abilities are invited to take part in the Harrison's Sports Challenge at Croft Autodrome on Wednesday, July 12, at 7.30pm.

The 10k Pit Stop race has been organised by Darlington Harr-iers and is being sponsored by Harrisons, one of the region's leading firms of insolvency practitioners and corporate recovery specialists.

All funds raised on the night will go towards Darlington Harriers.

Ian Barnes, president of Darlington Harriers, said: "We would like to welcome anyone who would like to take part in the race regardless of age or ability. I am sure that everyone taking part will have a good time on the day and I would like to wish everyone involved the very best of luck."

The race is open to all runners aged 17 and over, entry fee £3.50 for registered athletes and £4 for unattached runners. Entries taken on the night will cost an additional 50p.

There will also be a 2k fun run for junior athletes aged 11-16. The entry fee is £2.
