A County Durham hospice is appealing for volunteers to help care for patients and visitors.
Willow Burn Hospice, in Maiden Law, near Lanchester, takes patients from all over Durham and Derwentside.
It is seeking volunteers to help at weekends, between 10am and 2pm, and between 9am and 3pm on Thursdays.
Green-fingered volunteers are also wanted to tend the gardens. Anyone interested should contact the hospice on 0191-333 3655.
