CANNY youngsters in east Cleveland are being given the opportunity to earn some serious cash during the long summer holidays.
Cleveland Metals on Longbeck Trading Estate, Marske, is encouraging youngsters to collect aluminium drinks cans for recycling.
The youngsters will be doing their bit to help protect the environment as well as earning themselves some extra pocket money.
During the next few weeks, more than half a billion aluminium cans of drinks will be sold in the UK.
If they were all handed in, more than £3m would be paid out to the collectors
