PEOPLE in the Hambleton district are being invited to the first area committee meeting set up by North Yorkshire County Council under its new structure.
Area committees are a key feature of the new structure, and the meeting will address how they will operate and how decisions affecting the area will be reached.
The meeting will get under way at 5pm on Monday at County Hall, Northallerton.
Members of the public will have a chance to ask questions and discuss issues that affect them during a public question time session.
