TOP model Adriana Sklenarikova has criticised the weather and food in the North-East.
Adriana moved to Teesside from France when her football star husband Christian Karembeu joined Middlesbrough FC this summer.
But the glamorous 6ft Wonderbra model has found it difficult to settle down to life in the shadow of the Cellnet stadium.
She said: "We didn't move here for the weather. When we first looked at the countryside I didn't think anything could grow here because there is no sun.
"And I'm not crazy about English food, that's for sure. But we are getting into some English customs, like tea and scones."
Adriana spoke at her first photo shoot since she pulled out of a Rome fashion show because she had a black eye.
She said she suffered the injury when she walked into a glass door in her Paris flat.
