Ahmed Hussein hit four goals for Framwellgate Moor United as they won 4-1 at the Biddick Inn. Penshaw CC were 8-3 home winners over Houghton Mill All Stars. Sunderland Lakeside continue to show good form, winning 4-0 against visitors Seaham Kestrel, Joe Beston (2) and Paul Russell (2) the marksmen.

In the only game played in the Premier, Murton Village Inn were 4-2 home winners over Fishburn WMC, goals from Darren Little (2), Paul Moss and Jon Constantine.

Coxhoe WMC and visitors Witton Gilbert WMC shared the points in a 3-3 Division One draw, Neil Wilson (2) and Phil Lawson scoring for Coxhoe. Top marksman for the Brandon Bay Horse, Gary Davison, was on form as his two goals earned a fine 2-0 away win at Sacriston WMC.

Newton Hall Jovial Monk travelled to New Herrington Flighters in the Third Division, crashing to a 4-0 defeat. Washington Sports were too powerful for visitors Brandon Sports with the home side winning 7-1. Leaders Houghton Glendale Social beat visitors Brandon Ridge 9-0.

The big game in the Fourth Division saw the top two teams play, home side Washington Dunlop came out best beating Houghton New Social 5-2 thanks to goals from Phil Mustard (2), Bob Turnbull, Steve Pell and Dave Mathews. Two goals from Gareth Smith plus one from Martin Armstrong were not enough to prevent Houghton Chilton Lodge from crashing to a 5-3 home defeat by Lambton Highwayman. Goals from Stuart Dawson (2) and Ian Anderson gave Langley Park Rams Head the points in the away win at the Glendenning Arms.

Newton Aycliffe WMC travelled to Washington Honest Boy with both sides unbeaten in the Fifth Division. Newton Aycliffe outclassed the home side winning 6-0, Joe Peel (3), Ray Stanger (2) and Simon Rodgers scoring. Two from James Cutter plus one from Norman Peacock gave Langley Park Social their first point of the season in the 3-3 home draw with Washington Littlefuse. Five from John Smith plus one each for Karl Lamb and Steve Tulip gave Kirk Merrington Half Moon a 7-2 home win over Witton Gilbert White Tun. Lumley Snooker and visitors Hamilton Row Black Horse shared the points in a 3-3 draw, while Langley Moor Hotel were 5-3 winners at Pittington Duke of Wellington
