A TRADING system which can provide goods and services without spending money has been set up in Darlington.
The LETS, Local Exchange Trading System, can help people in the town have the chance to develop new skills and meet people.
It is a more versatile version of bartering, which uses a unit of exchange called a cobble.
Members, who receive an updated directory of services and goods and a cobble cheque book, can spend what they want and earn credits.
There is also a trading evening once a month in the Whole Being Centre, Darlington. For details call (01325) 486263.
