POLICE who chased a reversing car along a country lane for one-and-a-half miles want to talk to a driver who was forced off the road and on to the grass verge.
Officers in an unmarked police car were following suspects along Sloshes Lane, from Witton Park, past the entrance to Witton Castle, to the A68 between Toft Hill and Witton-le-Wear, County Durham.
During the chase, which happened at about 11.10pm on Tuesday, a car coming from the A68 had to swerve off the road to avoid the reversing vehicle.
