AN event aimed at promoting a career in childcare is being held later this month.
The evening, organised by the Hartlepool early years development and childcare partnership, is designed to stimulate interest in employment and training opportunities.
A range of organisations, including Hartlepool Borough Council, Hartlepool Sixth Form College and the local nursery, Little People, will offer advice.
The event will mark the launch of information packs containing a wealth of useful information, including details of employers, trainers and key contacts.
Organiser Julian Penton said: "Anyone with an interest in childcare is welcome to attend. We want people to be able to get information in a friendly atmosphere."
The evening will be held in the Sheraton room of the Grand Hotel, Hartlepool, on November 29, from 5pm to 8pm.
