AN outstanding palamino filly was judged overall supreme Welsh champion at the North Eastern Counties Welsh Pony and Cob Association Foal show.

The homebred Welsh mountain pony, Waitwith Sue Ellen, is owned by Mr and Mrs Tom Farrow of Richmond. It also took the section A championship. This was the filly's second supreme in as many weeks.

Reserve supreme Welsh foal was the section C winner Homelea Charisma, owned by Mrs A Gelson. Overall reserve was Mrs A Carr's Rangeview Reprint.

Mountain and moorland was won by Mr C Sanderson's black Fell pony, Holling Blackjack, while Mrs S Sanderson's black filly Colandra Nightingale was riding pony breeding champion.
