CHESTER-le-Street air cadet squadron is calling on past members to join in its birthday celebrations.
The squadron will be 60 in March and plans to mark the occasion with a presentation at its HQ behind the Territorial Army drill hall.
"It will be an evening on the history of the cadets and there will be different presentations,'' said civilian instructor Graham Blackie.
"We are trying to contact former members who would like to come along. Anyone interested in the joining the cadets would also be welcome.''
The squadron has about 50 members aged 13 to 22
