A PRE-SCHOOL playgroup has embarked on a new fundraising campaign to cover holiday pay for its staff.
Events organised by Bedale Under-fives have included a football match, sponsored slim, car boot sales and jumble sales.
The group also recently received a £1,500 grant from the North Yorkshire Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership.
The cash came from the Fund for Endangered Provision to help with rent, energy costs, rates and staff holiday pay bills.
