A 17-YEAR-OLD trainee soldier has died while on a training run at Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire.
The youngster, who has not been named, was on a run at the Infantry Training Centre at the garrison, where he was based, on Friday morning when the incident occurred.
A spokesman for the Army at Catterick said: "A full investigation is being conducted by the Royal Military Police and HM Coroner has been informed."
It is believed the young man was from the West Midlands.
