YOUNG musicians and dancers from across the North-East will showcase their talents at a folk concert on Wednesday.
Future Folk will include traditional dancers the Addison Junior Clog team, which is based at Ryton, as well as the band Ola.
Ola, recent finalists in the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award, will be playing several traditional and original tunes from Britain, Europe and the US.
Six-piece Newcastle group Kelter are also on the bill, playing a range of Celtic and Swedish music, plus contemporary and Indian classical pieces.
The concert is staged at the Caedmon Hall in Gateshead. Tickets, costing £4 and £2.50 for concessions, are available from the box office, on 0191-477 3478.
