SUPPORTERS of a centre for adults with learning disabilities are pooling their efforts to buy a mini bus.
Parents, carers and friends of clients at the Wear Valley Training Centre, Crook, will launch their campaign with a family football night on Thursday, May 17.
Organisers Christopher McKenna, Jason Martin and Alison and Janice Ashurst plan a sponsored five-a-side match, and children's activities, including a bouncy castle and slide, cake and jumble stalls, a tombola and tuck shop.
Christopher and Jason are also taking part in the football game. The event starts at 6pm.
