PUPILS from 13 schools in Cleveland have entered a competition aimed at improving fire safety in the community.
The youngsters created fire safety models for the 11th annual Corus and Cleveland Fire Brigade fire safety competition, which offers a total prize money of £8,050.
Each school worked with a liaison officer from the brigade's community fire safety division and Corus to produce their models.
The final models will be on show at the Teesside Steel Family Gala on Sunday, July 1, when the winners will be announced.
The winner of the last three competitions has been Grangefield School, Stockton, which has entered again this year.
