SOMETHING will have to give when two junior teams from the same North-East club play each other in a cup final.

The under-ten teams from East Boldon FC, near Sunderland, have both won through to the final of the Russell Foster Youth League Cup.

According to the Football Association, it is the first time that two teams from the same club will meet in a cup final at this level.

The sides, both unbeaten in league football this season, have received a boost ahead of the big game in the shape of new kit courtesy of the Newcastle Nuffield Hospital.

Theatre porter Bob Campbell, who has coached East Boldon for the past three years, said: "The boys are thrilled with their new kit, and it's a great reward for their performance through the season."

Andy Leonard, business development manager at the hospital, said: "Bob let us know about the boys' success this year, and we were very happy to help them with their new strip."
