PROPOSALS for a revamp of health services across Richmondshire and Hambleton are to be made available in libraries across the two districts.
A bulletin, which summaries the suggestions, has already been distributed to doctors' surgeries, council offices and libraries in the region.
A full consultation programme is also planned later in the year.
An article in The Northern Echo last week mistakenly indicated that the full draft document outlining the way ahead was also widely available.
However, due to the interest generated as a result, the Hambleton and Richmondshire Health Care Project has issued libraries with copies of the document, which will be held for public inspection.
"Following the public interest expressed we are happy to have issued the proposal document to local libraries and look forward to receiving any comments the public wish to share with us.
"Through formal consultation, there will be a further opportunity for people to express their views through the summer," said project manager Tony Bruce.
