Ex-Corrie star Denise Welch has spoken of her new-born baby's battle against a deadly bowel disease.
Denise, 42, and actor husband Tim Healy, 48, kept a two-week vigil at the bedside of son Louis after he was diagnosed with the rare Hirschsprung's disease.
And their prayers were answered when Louis made a full recovery from major surgery.
Denise played Rovers Return owner Natalie Barnes in the Street before quitting the top soap at Christmas.
She told Hello! magazine: "I can't believe he has only been here for a few weeks, but look what he has put us through.
"I've been through so much with him."
