ARTS projects in North Yorkshire are to share in a cash windfall of almost £50,000 from the National Lottery.
The three schemes have each hit the jackpot in the latest round of the Regional Arts Lottery Programme, announced yesterday.
In Harrogate, the Skippko Arts Team are to get £13,500 to employ a writer-researcher for their Links scheme, a participatory arts project for disabled people.
The Friends of Scarborough Museums and Art gallery will get £12,680 to commission a furniture designer to create seating for the gallery.
And York will get £23,000 to host Sightsonic, a digital festival, to be held in October, which anyone in the world will be able to take part in via the Internet.
