PRIOR Pursglove Sixth Form College, in Guisborough, has been presented with an award for its services to people.
College principal Stephen Whitehead, and chairman of the governors Colin Vaux, were presented with the Investors In People award by Pam Eccles, executive director of the Tees Valley Learning and Skills Council, and George Ringrow, chairman of the Gold Club, which supports companies preparing for the award, at the skills council's headquarters in Middlesbrough.
Mr Whitehead said: "An enormous amount of effort is generated to provide a first-class commitment to our 1,200 students, and the award is a tribute to the team work and commitment demonstrated by staff on a daily basis.
