A TASTE of the Orient inspired student Kelly-Marie Wilson to create a prize-winning snack to celebrate National Sandwich Week.
The 18-year-old, from Sunnybrow, near Willington, impressed judges at Bishop Auckland College who were seeking the most inventive light meal.
Her winning sandwich was a tortilla filled with Szechwan chicken, garlic, peppers and red cabbage, flavoured with yoghurt and onion dressing.
