STAFF at an insurance company have "knocked out" their local hospice with their continued support.
BIB, in Northgate, Darlington, has raised cash for St Teresa's Hospice in the town on a number of occasions.
Now, it has added a further £465 from a competition, KO2000, last year along with a pledge to enter again on July 22.
Jacqui Watson, BIB account executive, said: "BIB Darlington Ltd were delighted to be part of KO2000, and the team and their supporters had an excellent day's fun while raising funds for our local hospice, St Teresa's."
St Teresa's Hospice fundraiser David Jones said: "Many thanks to BIB for this excellent donation.
"The reaction of the BIB team is typical of all the teams which have taken part in this annual knockout competition.
"We are delighted that they enjoyed the day."
Anyone who wishes to take part in this year's KO2001 should telephone (01325) 254321.
