A WAREHOUSEMAN was paid up to £500 a week to store drugs, a court was told yesterday.
Peter Brant, 51, told detectives about his arrangement when they caught him with heroin and Ecstasy.
Brant was arrested when police raided a house in Mowbray Road, Hartlepool, on August 3 last year, Teesside Crown Court heard.
Brant, of Duncan Road, Hartlepool, was remanded in custody for sentence next month after he pleaded guilty to possessing heroin with intent to supply it, and possession of Ecstasy.
Gordon Gibson, of Dean Street, Hartlepool, was granted bail for pre-sentence reports after he admitted being concerned in supplying heroin between July 13 and August 2, and also to being the occupier of premises who knowingly permitted the supply of a controlled drug
