THE Washington plant that played a vital role in the rising fortunes of Perlos, is now up for grabs as the Finnish company moves on.
The precision plastics firm hopes the factory, in Tower Road, Glover Industrial Estate, will bring similar economic success to new occupants.
Perlos, a major supplier to the mobile phone industry, has finished its year-long relocation to Rainton Bridge, near Houghton-le-Spring, and has now put its former 33,800sq ft plant on the market.
Selling agents DTZ Debenham Tie Leung, have earmarked it as prime manufacturing space.
