CANDIDATES for the seats of Darlington, City of Durham, Sedgefield and Bishop Auckland have been invited to a hustings meeting at Hallgarth Hall Hotel at Coatham Mundeville, near Darlington, tomorrow.
The meeting is organised by the local branch of the Federation of Small Businesses, but no Labour candidates have confirmed their attendance.
For the Tories, Douglas Carswell, fighting Tony Blair in Sedgefield, will be there. Carol Woods (Durham City), Robert Adamson (Darlington) and Chris Foote Wood (Bishop Auckland) will be representing the LibDems, Carl Bennett (Bishop Auckland) the Green Party, and Andrew Spence (Sedgefield) and Chris Williamson (Durham City) the UK Independence Party.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm.
