MOLLYCODDLED moggies can enjoy the purrfect holiday in the comfort of their owner's home.

Animal lover June Buxton has set up a cat-sitting business that ensures home-loving felines don't have to live in a cattery when their owners go away.

Comfy Cats, in Nevilles Cross, Durham, where June lives, is already proving very popular.

She explained the idea behind her venture: "I used to run my own bed and breakfast business for over 15 years, but decided that I wanted a career change.

"The guests who used to travel all over the world to come to Durham often used to say that had to put their cat in catteries, but unfortunately, most animals didn't like to be away from their own environment.

"I have always had a love of cats so I decided this was the right time to start up my own cat sitting service so the cats need never leave their own homes."

Comfy Cats clients will get the kind of home comforts they are used to from their owners. June will feed, water and pamper them every day.

June added: "Although many catteries nowadays are equipped with many of the home comforts like TVs and beds, there is still no place like home."
