A 15-year-old girl missing for a week has contacted her family to say she is well.
Kerry Hetherington was last seen by her father, David, on Tuesday, June 26, when she left her home in Gosforth, Newcastle, to go shopping in the city.
She has been missing before, but in the past has returned home after a few days.
Mr Hetherington said last night: "Kerry isn't going to get into any trouble for running away. I just want her to come home. Although she rang me I am still worried."
