BOLDON'S batsmen were the stars of the show as they hit their way to victory in The Northern Echo/Local Heroes Under-15s Schools Cricket Cup.
Their top order mastered the difficult conditions in a rain-affected semi-final and then stayed on top in the final staged at the Riverside against Easingwold School.
Man of the match was Boldon's Gary Frater who scored an unbeaten half century as his team won by nine wickets.
