Foster's Northumberland and Tyneside Senior League Under-15s - Sacriston sent Whickham crashing to 25 all out as Martin Hubber and Ian Nelson wreaked havoc.

Hubber took four wickets for as many runs in five overs and Nelson was just as effective claiming four wickets for seven runs from his five-overs spell. Sacriston then romped home, losing just one wicket with Gary Kirk carrying his bat for 17 out of a total of 28-1.

Burnopfield overtook the Annfield Plain total of 88-4 with nine wickets intact.

Their match-winner with the bat was Mark Stoneman who hit one six and six boundaries in 56 not out.

Batting first, Annfield Plain were indebted to Andrew Leathley who had one six and four fours in a top-scoring 43 while for Burnopfield, Marcus Peart captured two wickets for 26 runs in five overs.

Kibblesworth won off the last ball at home to Greenside. Batting first, the visitors ended with 82-7 and no fewer than 40 of the runs came from Linton while for the home side Maguire bowled a good end and took four of the seven Greenside wickets for just 16 runs.

In response, Kibblesworth ended on 83-5 and Burlison was their matchwinner at the crease, top-scoring with 31.

Ali was in good form in the Greenside attack, picking up three wickets for just nine runs.

With the season coming to an end, a second programme has been played in recent days. Lanchester saw off the challenge of Whickham by 52 runs when they totalled 140-4 which included 49 not out by Stuart McPhail.

Whickham were pegged to 88-7 when brothers Greg and Dean Halliday both took three wickets.

Marshall (30) and Dowson (31 not out) earned Consett a nine-wicket win at Swalwell and Burnopfield had seven wickets in hand of Chopwell who were pegged to 74-7 of which Adam Tams scored 43.

Lawrence Davey and Richard Smart both took three wickets and Mark Stoneman finished unbeaten on 42 for Burnopfield.

Craig Burke returned the magnificent figures of 5-5 when Sacriston restricted Lintz to 51-7.

Martin Hubber, with 28 not out and Gary Kirk (13 not out) then swept Sacriston to a ten-wicket win.
