BOROUGHBRIDGE Methodist Church has secured planning approval for a number of changes to the building.
Planners in Harrogate have agreed that a new ramp can be built for the disabled, along with new steps and entrances.
They also gave approval for a porch, and alterations to windows and roof, as well as internal changes.
But the planners ruled that glass panels to the rear of railings are unacceptable.
A detailed planting scheme for the area must also be approved
