JOBSEEKERS seeking Christmas employment may find what they want at a jobs fair in Stockton next week.
More than 300 festive careers opportunities will be on offer at the fair, which is being held in the Swallow Hotel, Stockton between 10am and 4pm, next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Major employers, including Argos, Big W, Debenhams, Marks and Spencer, Sainsburys, Toys R Us, Woolworths and PC World will be at the fair.
Bob Hind, Employment Service recruitment consultant, said: "Companies at the event are looking to recruit more than 300 people for jobs - the vast majority in retail - to start work next month for the build-up to Christmas.
"Previous events have been very successful and we are looking forward to this year being the best yet."
The latest general job vacancies will be on display, with staff from local JobCentres on hand to give advice and assistance. There will also be specialist advisors who will give advice to lone parents and jobseekers who are aged 50 or older.
