RAIDING a Darlington house was not enough for greedy burglars who decided to steal their victims' car as well.
The back door of the house, in Mallard Road, was forced open and a haul of items was taken. However, as well as the Nokia 6150 mobile phone, a black leather wallet, cash, bank cards and jewellery, the thieves stole a set of car keys.
Using the keys, they drove off with their haul in the family's silver Rover 25, registered NU 51 VXZ.
The burglary happened between 10.30pm on Wednesday and 7am on Thursday.
