YOUNGSTERS from Teesside discovered how to kick start their careers at an event yesterday.
Organised by Teesside's careers service provider Future Steps, the Career Connexions event took place at the BT Cellnet Riverside Stadium, in Middlesbrough. Sessions involved employers, education and training providers, and representatives from various professions speaking directly to year ten and 11 students, their parents and carers.
It formed part of a series of similar events, of which the last is on Tuesday, at the Brotton Centre of Freebrough Community College, from 1pm to 3pm.
