A late Mansfield Town goal grabbed all three points at Feethams against a Darlington side who can consider themselves unlucky not to have won the game.
The Quakers held the majority of possession throughout the second half but failed to deliver any convincing crosses in the final third of the field.
Because of this, the home side failed to get on the scoresheet at Feethams for the first time this season, leaving the visitors with the opportunity to snatch all three points.
Ten minutes from time the visitors scored direct from a free-kick through Alan Tankard, who gave keeper Andy Collett little chance with an effort from the edge of the area.
