PARKING charges are to be introduced at the headquarters of Durham Police.
Staff taking cars to Aykley Heads, Durham City, will pay £2 a week, although job sharers will only be charged £1.
The force says the charges, coming into force in December, will help pay for a £90,000 extension to the car park. That will create 120 spaces, while other improvements will provide a further 64 bays.
