DRAMA students from Redcar and Cleveland College hope to play to a full house when they put on two plays at Saltburn Theatre this week.
The students, who are working towards a BTEC National Diploma in drama, are busy rehearsing for their opening night on Thursday when the curtain will rise on Per Chance to Dream and The Bench, both by playwright Alan Butler.
The students are confident the double bill of contemporary plays will delight the audiences and are optimistic they will attract full houses during their three-day run.
College principal Alan Old said: "This is an exciting venture for our students, which allows them to put on first class plays in authentic surroundings for a paying audience.
"The venture also provides them with valuable hands-on experience for their BTEC course."
Tickets, priced £4.50 (£3.50 for concessions), are available from the theatre, or Redcar and Cleveland College. For more details call the college on (01642) 473132
