LYNNE Baker reckons she may never be able to go near a bowl of custard ever again.
The check-out girl and her friend, Lynne Robson, agreed to bathe in the yellow goo for five hours yesterday in the Asda store, in Stanley, to raise money for BBC Children in Need.
When custard was poured over her head her screams of laughter could be heard across the store.
"It's all for a good cause but I'm not sure when I'll be able to face custard again," said Lynne Baker.
Her friend admitted she had taken part in a similar all-day bathe in the store last year, only that time it was blancmange.
"I never thought I'd be doing this all over again," she said.
Before their unusual bath the pair raised more than £200 for the charity in sponsorship and hoped to raise more in donations from passing shoppers yesterday
