POLICE are investigating a series of burglaries in Darlington in the past week.
Detectives believe the thefts, in the Denes area, were committed during the day and early evening.
In most cases, ground floor rear windows were forced.
The latest raids happened between 11am on Saturday and 12.45pm on Sunday, in Trafalgar Terrace, from 2pm to 10pm on Sunday in Hazel Avenue, and between 8.25am and 5.50pm on Monday in Craig Street.
In the latter burglary nothing was stolen. Household items and cash were taken from other homes.
Burglaries have also been committed in Pierremont Drive, Acacia Street and Willow Road in the past week.
