MOTHER Ann Ball has been named as the latest winner of The Northern Echo's successful CommuniGate competition.
Ann's baby massage website has won the Pick of the Month prize under our CommuniGate project, which has already helped dozens of voluntary groups across the region. The scheme helps non-profit making organisations promote themselves free on the Internet through The Northern Echo web- site, at thisisthenortheast.co.uk
Ann's website came out on top of this month's Pick of the Month competition, which is sponsored by electrical firm Currys.
Her efforts in creating the website, with the help of The Northern Echo web editor Alison Nicholson, have won her a software package from Currys and a logo on the CommuniGate front page.
The website features information on baby massage, aromatherapy and reflexology classes, which Ann runs in the North-East.
She will be holding classes on Saturdays and Tuesdays at Chester-le-Street and Sherburn Village.
Ann, 33, of Sherburn Village, County Durham, said: "Creating the website has been so easy, and I've already had more than 800 hits since I set it up at the beginning of the year."
