A TEENAGER has won a work placement at a French medical centre.
Lisa Benneth, of Stockton Sixth Form College, is going to the European centre for the Study of Diabetes, in Strasbourg, for ten days. An exchange visit, which links Stockton college with the Lycee des Pontonniers, Strasbourg, gives linguists the flavour of work, language and culture the country.
Two other Stockton students have work placements: David Plant of Fairfield, Stockton, will be at the Ecole Nationale d'Admini-stration, a college for politicians and managers, and Sally Brown of Norton heads to a boulangerie, a French bakers in Strasbourg.
