SNORERS no longer have an excuse for making the nights of other guests' a misery at a County Durham hotel.
Bosses at the Chester-le-Street hotel have gone one step further than No Smoking Rooms by introducing No Snoring Rooms.
The Innkeeper Lodge, in Great North Road, provides a herbal remedy to snorers - a throat spray called Helps Stop Snoring.
Manager Bob Middlemiss said: "Some people are actually afraid to stay in hotels because they think they might disturb other guests with their snoring. We can offer them a great night's rest and possibly the solution to an embarrassing problem."
The remedy, which Mr Middlesmiss says is the only one of its kind to be proved effective in UK clinical trials, is offered free
