JUBILANT youngsters at Thirsk school are celebrating the year ten basketball team's success.
The team now holds the Harrogate and Ripon area schools trophy after winning 18-5 in a final against Sir Francis Xavier school, Richmond.
Thirsk beat Bedale, Northallerton college and Stokesley in earlier rounds to reach the final.
Head of PE Matt Messias said: "The team has really come on the three years we have been training together."
Team members were Joss Cole, Martin Winspear, Richard Barker, Greg Watson, Harry Casey, Peter Gray, Mark Karvounis, Tommy Hunter and Chris Brough.
