CIU League - The League's Annual Presentation Evening was held at Willington Club with Jack Amos, the Durham Branch secretary, presenting the awards.

The overall League Championship Trophy went to Ferryhill with Crook Belle Vue the runners-up.

The Darts League was won by Crook Belle Vue with Cockton Hill in second place. The Dominoes League was won by Crook Belle Vue with Crowtrees in second place. The Pool League was won by Ferryhill with Cockton Hill in second place.

The Laverick trophy for Darts Captains was won by Phil Nixon of Ferryhill; the Leyburn Trophy for Dominoes Captains was won by Jimmy Hunt of Cockton Hill; the Amos Trophy was won by Trevor race of Cockton Hill. The Overall Captains Trophy went to Peter race of Cockton Hill.

Jeff Sneath of Crook Belle Vue was the Darts Singles Champion with teammate, Keith Wright the runner up. The Darts Pairs Championship was won by Paul Knighton and Keith Wright of Crook Belle Vue with Roy brown and Tony Nixon of Ferryhill taking the runners up trophies.

Jack Lowes of Newfield won the Dominoes Singles title when he beat Billy Copper of Ferryhill in the Final. The Dominoes Doubles Championship went to Joe Wray and Frank Smith of Ferryhill with Billy Sparks and Dave Anderson of Willington the runners up.

Trevor Race of Cockton Hill won the Pool Singles Championship with Colin Joyce of Chilton in second place. The Pool Pairs Champions were Doug McCarthy and Jeff Sneath of Crook Belle Vue with Phil Blyth and Lane Sample of the Prospect the runners up.

The Individual Player of the Year awards went to Roy Brown, Phil Nixon and Tony Nixon, who shared the darts award with 18wins from 20 games; Steve Bell of Crowtrees took the dominoes award with 15 wins; Trevor Race took the pool award with 19 wins from 20 games.

The Delegates Cup was won by Wilf Sharp and Phil Blyth of the prospect Club. The Demma Wright Memorial Trophy was won by Jack Lowes of Newfield. The Thomas Bailey Memorial trophy was won by Jeff Sneath and Paul Knighton.

Willington Ladies League

Willington Club B, the darts section leaders, were surprisingly beaten at Hunwick Quarry Burn but still lead the table by eight points from Sunnybrow Brown Trout, who are six ahead of Willington Brewers Droop.

In the dominoes section, Hunwick Joiners Arms stretched their lead to nine points, whilst the second placed Willington Market were only collecting one point from their trip to Willington Club A. Hunwick Quarry Burn are two points behind the Market A.

Tow Law Scottish & Newcastle Cup

The new competition is made up of matches of pool and dominoes with 15 points at stake in the form of six pool singles, three pool doubles and six dominoes singles. The 12 teams are split into two leagues with the winner of each competing for the Trophy.
