BLINDS manufacturer Siesta has plans to expand after moving into new premises.
The business, in Brighouse Court, Aycliffe Industrial Estate, County Durham, plans to take on four more staff and target the national market after moving into the 2,000sq ft unit.
The family-run firm, established in 1986, supplies blinds to schools and universities.
It employs about ten full and part-time staff and plans to add at least another four by the end of the year.
Managing director Jim Forbes said: "We are managing to expand on the back of success in the national market. Until recently we only supplied blinds to the North-East market, but since we started operating a mail order service business has really taken off and we are winning more customers nationwide."
