MOTOR dealers in North Yorkshire are being urged to attend two seminars aiming to raise the industry's profile.
Dealers attending the events in Harrogate and Scarborough will be updated on all aspects of trading standards law and have a chance to meet county council officers.
Head of trading standards in North Yorkshire, Stuart Pudney, said: "The motor trade is the trading sector with the worst reputation in the business world.
"We, however, know that there is a commitment among the majority of dealers to provide the best for their customers and we want to do all we can to help them in that.
"We have discussed these seminars with a number of dealers and have received a very positive response."
The seminars will be held on February 5, at Bilton House, Harrogate, and February 12, at the St Nicholas Hotel, Scarborough.
