A MAN has been arrested in connection with the murder of a prostitute whose naked body was found dumped on moorland, police said today.
Vicky Glass, 21, was missing from her home town of Middlesbrough for six weeks before she was discovered by a man walking his dog at a North Yorkshire beauty spot near the village of Danby in November 2000.
The team of detectives working on the case today arrested a 47-year-old North Yorkshire man, a Cleveland Police spokeswoman said.
He will be questioned today at Northallerton police station.
