POLICE have released an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with an attempted abduction in Sunderland in last week.
A 14-year-old boy chased off the man trying to abduct two six-year-old boys at about 7pm on Friday. The man was carrying one child and was being followed by the other in the Wren Grove area of Castletown, Sunderland.
The suspect, who spoke to the boys before picking one up, was chased to the back of Oswald Terrace West. There he got into a red VW three-door old-style Golf or Polo.
He was described as tanned and wearing a dark coat and woollen hat. He was about 5ft 8in, of medium build and aged 20 to 30.
